Have an assistant pump and then hold firm pressure on the brake pedal.
If you start to notice that over time the pedal requires increased effort in order to achieve the same amount of braking force then that may be a sign of a possible issue with the abs module.
I unhooked all the break lines at the calipers to do the lift.
If your brake pedal sinks all the way to the floor when you press there can be many possible culprits for this problem.
Pedal is okay then sinks to the floor.
Loosen the rh front disc brake caliper bleeder screw until a stream of brake fluid comes out.

Recently the brake pedal goes extremely soft after the anti lock brake system engages.
A common example is you might find the brake pedal goes to floor but still works.
When i tried they pumped up like normal but after starting up the truck the pedal then sank to the floor.

So i just installed a rough country 6 inch lift on my 03 silverado 1500.
It can still brake but i have to press the pedal almost to touching the floor.
My 2005 honda cr v driver side rear breaks are eating up the brake pads i have to change them every 2 to 3 weeks what could be causing this problem.
It will stay soft a while at least 20 min probably longer but i found that if i pump them hard a few times like while at a red light it then returns to normal.
