The immo itself has it s own crit effect trail and if you use the blade dance gem no trail shows up when you crit due to possibly bugs or conflicting trails. I think the arcana is actually quite nice right now with the alternate style it did everything people hoped for. It later reappears as a normal enemy in the harabah block between floors 202 to 213.
