Woodtick has a great answer may i add you can take a couple of used up sheets a couple that have not tore and keep them on the sander and put the new one over the top of them so it will give it a little extra padding as woodtick said too much pressure will cause the tearing let the sander do thework yeaa woodticks 10 points not mine.
